Terms and Conditions

Article 1. Definitions

1.1 Zoef Robot: brand and trade name of which Zoef Robot BV uses the legal acts and entering into the Agreements and where these General Terms and Conditions apply.

1.2 Zoef Robot is an online store in household robots, which can be visited via www.ZoefRobot.nl, and is fully owned by Zoef Robot BV. The following conditions apply to all products and services that are supplied to consumers via www.ZoefRobot.nl.


Article 2. Applicability

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all offers, orders and agreements concluded using the websites of Zoef Robot, to the exclusion of any other general terms and conditions.

2.2 The acceptance of an offer or the placing of an order takes place subject to the applicability of these Conditions.

2.3 The provisions of these Terms and Conditions can only be deviated from in writing. If a part of these General Terms and Conditions is deviated from, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

2.4 All rights and claims, as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions and in any further agreements for Zoef Robot, are equally stipulated for the benefit of intermediaries and other third parties engaged by Zoef Robot.


Article 3. Agreements

3.1 An agreement is established after acceptance by the customer of the offer on our website. Zoef Robot is entitled to refuse orders or request additional information. If an order is not accepted, the customer will be notified, stating the reason.


Article 4. Prices

4.1 The prices mentioned in the articles are in euros, including VAT. Shipping costs are (unless stated otherwise) not included in the mentioned prices. Before concluding the agreement, the total price including shipping costs is communicated via our website.

4.2 The shipping costs of orders within the Netherlands are € 6.95. For shipments to countries other than the Netherlands, the contribution to shipping costs depends on the country concerned.

4.3 Zoef Robot cannot be held to price indications that are obviously incorrect, for example as a result of obvious input, typesetting or printing errors. No rights can be derived from unlawful price information.

Article 5. Payments

5.1 Payment can be made in (one of) the way (s) as indicated during the ordering process. Further (payment / order) conditions can be imposed on a customer's order. After placing an order, the customer will immediately receive a confirmation with the total costs, including shipping costs. Payment is always entirely in advance with the exception of Article 5.2a.

5.2 Payment is possible through:
a) Cash on delivery. Where the full amount incl. Transport costs at the door must be paid to the delivery person.

b) Payment in advance by bank transfer. This payment must be received in full by Zoef Robot within 7 days of the order date, after which the order will be sent.

c) Payment by Ideal / Paypal, where after receiving the payment on the account of Zoef Robot the order will be made ready for shipment.


5.3 The customer gives Zoef Robot permission to perform all actions required for payment to be made in the payment method chosen by the customer.

5.4 When paying by bank or giro the date of payment is the date of crediting the giro or bank account of Zoef Robot

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment options. Payment is to be made to Klarna:

  • Pay later.

Offering these payment options is not an obligation of Zoef Robot.


Article 6. Delivery / Shipment

6.1 Zoef Robot strives to offer orders for shipment within 2 business day after receipt of payment. However, Zoef Robot is not obliged to do this.
We will inform you about the shipment of your package and will provide you with the Track & Trace information. The shipping time of your package is usually 1 to 3 business days.

6.2 The delivery period is 30 days after the order has been placed, with the exception of orders where the customer has indicated that he wants to receive it later. If it is not possible to deliver an order within 30 days, the customer will be informed in good time and he has the right to cancel his order free of charge.

6.3 Sending orders within the Netherlands is free, provided that the total amount of your order is more than € 150. If you order for less, we will have to charge € 6.95 for shipment. Your package will be sent at your own risk, but special care will be taken to protect sensitive items. For other countries, the full shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

6.4 An order will not be sent by us if it cannot be sent completely, unless this has been discussed with the customer. If the delivery is either in (temporarily) out of stock, or is delayed for other reasons, or if an order cannot be executed or only partially, the customer will be notified of this no later than seven (7) working days after he has placed the order . In that case the customer has the right to cancel the order without costs. Zoef Robot will in that case arrange for a refund.

6.5 Deviations in color, type, text and / or price changes reserved. Offered goods and / or services are clearly and truthfully depicted and / or described and as complete as reasonably required.

 

Article 7. Retention of title

Ownership of delivered products will only transfer if the customer has paid all that is owed to Zoef Robot by virtue of the agreement (s) concluded with regard to the delivered products.

Article 8. Returning and exchanging articles

You may of course want to return to your purchase decision. After purchasing an item in our webshop you also have the option to dissolve the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. In practice, this means that after you have received your item, you still have 14 days to change your mind. You do not have to state a reason for this. You then have 14 days to return the product. However, it is very important that you return the item and all accessories supplied - if reasonably possible - in the original condition, unopened and undamaged in the original packaging. If this is not the case, we will charge costs for this.

If the above-mentioned return is received in good order, the order amount including shipping costs will be transferred within 14 days to the account number you specified. Costs for returning are for your own account.

If you want to return the item because it is damaged and / or defective upon receipt, it is important that you inform us as soon as possible.

Items that you have purchased through Zoef Robot can be exchanged and / or returned without giving reasons. We kindly request you to follow the following instructions when returning the item:

  • You register the item on info @ zoefrobot as a return shipment.
  • You will receive a return number and a return form that must be completed.
  • You return the item with the completed return form within 14 days after the termination of the agreement to the address stated on the return form.
  • The costs for returning are for your account.
  • You must send the item - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging, unopened and undamaged.
  • The item is complete and without traces of use.
  • The article also includes all accessories supplied.
  • You must include your proof of purchase (invoice).
  • You may only try out the item on the condition that there are no user marks and / or damage.
  • If there is a value reduction due to damage, then this value reduction can be charged to you as a consumer.

8.2 The customer is obliged to send the items to be returned at his own expense, this can be sent by post, (The items to be returned) must always be prepaid sufficiently, insufficiently stamped returns are NOT received and therefore NOT credited.

 

Article 9. Complaints

Complaint regarding delivery of your order

9.1 We do everything we can to deliver a perfect product. After receiving your order, you must immediately inspect the delivered goods and immediately report any defects in writing. If a product has not been delivered in accordance with your order or does not meet the description on our website, you must report this to us immediately. This can be done by contacting us by telephone or sending an e-mail to [email protected]

If the solution offered does not meet your expectations, you can cancel the entire order within 14 working days, without additional costs. The amount already paid will be credited immediately with due observance of what is described in Article 8.

Complaint regarding the quality of the item (s)


9.2 It can of course happen that the quality of a product does not (no longer) meet your expectations after a period of use.

The warranty period on the robot vacuum cleaners is 1 year and for robotic lawnmower 2 years after receipt of the product with the exception of the battery, it has a 6-month warranty. This guarantee is of course only valid for normal use and maintenance
does not cover wear-sensitive parts such as knives, drive belts, brushes, etc.


This warranty is void if you have tried to repair the defect without consulting yourself and / or if you have not followed the instructions and / or instructions for use.

If you have such a complaint about an item that you have purchased from us, we would like to hear from you. You can contact us by telephone on work days between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or send an email to [email protected]

9.3 The postage costs for returning an item with a complaint will in the first instance be borne by the customer. These costs will be credited if the complaint is upheld.

We will solve the problem as soon as possible in consultation with you. In order to ensure that your complaint is handled smoothly, we request that you strictly follow our instructions.

9.4 We recommend that you first make your complaints known to us by emailing [email protected] If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur. From 15 February 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform. "

Article 10. Cancellation of your order

10.1 Each order can be canceled within 24 hours after you have placed the order, without having to pay a fine and without giving reasons, if not yet sent. We request that you send an e-mail to info @ Zoef Robot.nl. Your order cancellation will be confirmed by e-mail. Once your cancellation request has been confirmed by us, you may regard it as received. If you have already paid your canceled order, Zoef Robot will refund the amount paid within fourteen (14) days at the latest.

10.2 The buyer has the right, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act, to revoke (cancel) the order (only the entire) order within fourteen working days of receipt, without payment of a fine and without giving reasons. The buyer therefore has the option of having the order amount, if already paid, refunded. In this case, Zoef Robot does not charge costs for shipping items to the delivery address in this way, but the customer is obliged to return the order at his own expense.

10.3 To this end, you must contact [email protected] within 14 working days of receipt at the delivery address
In this e-mail you must state your name, order number and (if applicable) your bank details. You also indicate that you wish to cancel your order in accordance with the Distance Selling Act. Provided your request complies with the above, you will receive a confirmation within 7 working days with the address to which you can return your order. See also the procedure in Article 8.1

10.4 You will receive a confirmation by e-mail as soon as we have received and processed your shipment. Provided that payment has been made, the full order amount will be refunded no later than fourteen (14) days after the confirmation of receipt of your order by Zoef Robot.

Article 11. Orders / communication

For misunderstanding, mutilation, delays or improper transmission of orders and communications as a result of the use of the internet or any other means of communication in traffic between the customer and Zoef Robot, or between Zoef Robot and third parties, insofar as it relates to the relationship between the customer and Zoef Robot, Zoef Robot is not liable, unless and insofar as there was intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Zoef Robot.

Article 12. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, Zoef Robot has the right, at its option, to suspend the execution of a customer's order, or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention, by notifying the customer in writing and without this. that Zoef Robot is obliged to pay any compensation, unless this would be unacceptable in the given circumstances by the standards of reasonableness and fairness.

 

Article 13. Applicable law and competent court

13.1 All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Terms and Conditions apply, as well as these Terms and Conditions, are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

13.2 Disputes between parties can be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

13.3 If one or more articles of these conditions are declared invalid by a court decision:

  • other provisions of these general terms and conditions will remain in full force,

  • Zoef Robot and the client will enter into consultation in order to agree on new provisions to replace the invalid or annulled provisions, whereby the purpose and purport of the invalid or annulled provisions will be taken into account wherever possible.

All rights reserved. Nothing from these terms and conditions may be copied, stored and / or distributed without written permission from Zoef Robot BV.
